Why does my range burner click but not light?
A single burner that clicks without lighting usually has a fouled or cracked igniter or a misaligned cap. All burners failing points at the spark module or the switch harness.

- Dry the burner cap and igniter fully after a boil over.
- Seat the burner cap so it sits level on the base.
- Clean food from the igniter tip with a soft brush.
- Check that other burners light. If none do, the spark module is the suspect.
