Why is my dishwasher not draining?
Standing water means the drain path is blocked or the pump has failed. On integrated European units this shows as a code, F24 on Miele or E24 on Bosch being the common ones. If the filter is clean and the code returns, the pump or the check valve needs replacing.

- Remove and rinse the filter in the bottom of the tub.
- Check the air gap at the sink if one is fitted and clear it.
- Run the disposal if the drain line connects to it, and confirm the knockout plug was removed on a new disposal.
- Look for a kink in the drain hose under the sink.
